Letter from The Board May 9th, 2020

Dear members and guests of The Friendship Club,

The Board would like to give everyone an update of where things are relative to meetings at the current time.

The Club is helping facilitate online meetings given the issues related to Covid-19, which make us unable to hold in-person meetings at your Club.

We are also working hard to keep a revenue stream going in order to maintain core staff and take care of a few upgrades while your Club is empty.

In the past, the Board met quarterly with one open Board meeting held around the first of very year.  We are currently meeting weekly, our main concern being when we can open the Club in the safest way possible. Obviously, this is no easy task because New Mexico is operating pursuant to direction from Governor Lujan-Grisham and Mayor Webber. Making the transition from closed to open in a safe and orderly manner is our prime concern, as we put the safety of our members and guests first.

Please know that our thoughts are with you and your families at this time. We are looking forward to and preparing for the time when life is back to normal.

Stay safe and well,

The Board of The Friendship Club
